Oscar Moreno - Chinese Medicine Doctor (TCM)

Oscar is a skilled practitioner of Chinese medicine and acupuncture, greatly experienced in the treatment of a wide range of disorders. After being in general practice for a number of years, he has acquired a particular interest in chronic and difficult-to-treat diseases, with a focus on digestive disorders, fertility issues and mental health.

Oscar uses a complete, holistic system by focusing on how the body-mind-emotions-diet-lifestyle interactions affect our health or disease states, and he emphasises this approach in treating chronic problems.

He is particularly interested in the role that emotional issues play in digestive problems and brings the potential of this ancient, eastern, holistic approach to help alleviate mental ailments.

He also focuses strongly on Chinese medicine dietary therapy, a timeless form of dietetics that focuses not only on the right foods to eat for a particular condition, but also takes into account the seasons, environment, cooking methods, eating times and attitudes towards our foods.

One of the most attractive aspects of Chinese medicine for Oscar is to see how such an old and highly complete medical system is able to bring thousands of years of knowledge to our modern health predicaments, in a safe and very effective manner.
