Our philosophy
The nautilus is more than the symbol of Vitality Hub. It expresses our philosophy of care.
For hundreds of millions of years, the nautilus has grown by creating one new chamber at a time, each more spacious than the last. It carries every earlier chamber within it, not as a burden, but as the structure that makes its continued expansion possible.
We believe vitality unfolds in the same way. Your body and life are shaped by everything that has come before: seasons of depletion and recovery, pressure and possibility, challenge and change. Meaningful wellbeing is not about forcing a rapid transformation or trying to erase the past. It is about creating the conditions in which you have more room to restore, regulate, adapt and grow.
The nautilus also moves through changing ocean depths by finely adjusting the balance within its hidden chambers. This is the kind of vitality we seek to support: not a life free from pressure, but a greater capacity to meet its changing demands with steadiness.
That is why we chose the nautilus. It is a reminder that renewal is gradual, intelligent and deeply individual. At Vitality Hub, we offer a considered space to support your body’s innate capacity for balance, energy and forward movement, in a rhythm that is sustainable for you.
Nature's intelligenceRhythmic renewalBalanced forward movement
Life as a cycle, not a line
The shell grows in recurring chambers. Renewal works the same way: steady, repeated, building on what came before.
Effort, rest and lift
Its chambers help the nautilus regulate buoyancy, rising and settling with ease. A reminder that energy is about balance, not constant effort.
Grounded, not forced
It expands without discarding its earlier form. Growth that carries everything before it, rooted rather than rushed.
Depth and instinct
An ancient marine lineage, connecting us with natural systems, quiet instinct and the restorative quality of water.
Inward, then outward
The spiral draws the eye in, then carries it out again. Recalibrate, find your centre, move on with renewed momentum.
Order, harmony, movement
Its chambered spiral follows logarithmic growth: the same proportions at every size. Nature's own design for harmony in motion.
What is PEMF
A charge in every cell
Nature runs on rhythm: tides, seasons, the steady beat of the heart. PEMF speaks the same language of pulse and frequency.
Healthy cells hold a small voltage across their outer membrane, about seventy thousandths of a volt. A coil beneath you sends out magnetic pulses at very low frequencies, and each pulse induces a tiny current in the tissue it passes through.
Clients most often come for recovery, comfort, deeper rest and steadier energy. Everyone responds differently, and PEMF does not treat specific conditions.
How it works
From the coil to the cell
Three simple pieces of physics and biology, in the order they happen while you rest.
-
The coil
A pulse leaves the bed
A coil inside the full-body contour bed sends out magnetic pulses at precise, very low frequencies. The field passes easily through clothing and tissue.
-
The pulse
A tiny current is induced
Each change in a magnetic field induces a small electrical current in whatever it passes through. This is Faraday's law, the same physics behind transformers and wireless chargers.
-
The cell
A charge in every cell
Healthy cells hold about seventy thousandths of a volt across their outer membrane. The gentle pulses work alongside that natural charge, and the body does what it already knows how to do.
Earth-like rhythms, a few beats a second
The system works at very low frequencies, a handful of pulses each second. That range sits alongside the slow rhythms of the resting brain and close to the Earth's own natural resonance: the hum that rings between the ground and the upper atmosphere, about 7.83 times a second.
7.83 pulses a second · The Earth's own resonance
Strength that reaches the deep water
A magnetic field fades quickly as it travels: for a coil about 16 cm across, only around a third of its strength remains 8 cm away. A gentle field may barely pass the skin, while a strong one can still carry meaningful energy into muscle and joints.
As magnetic medicine author Dr William Pawluk puts it, the signal needs to be strong enough to penetrate tissue to matter. That is why this studio uses a USA-made, high-intensity, clinical-grade system.
Illustrative, based on how a coil's field falls with distance.

The Ten Day Reset
Renewal, chamber by chamber
Like the nautilus, renewal builds in rhythm, each session resting on the one before. Some clients feel a clear shift after one session. As a guide, five sessions within ten days gives a clear sense of how you respond.
An illustration of sessions building on each other, not a prediction of results.

Frequency and intensity are set for you and adjusted as you go. A gentle tapping, nothing more.
Return to centre
Many clients doze off. You head back into your day with renewed momentum and no downtime.

Who guides your sessions
Michelle Pearce, Naturopath
I am a naturopath based in Cammeray, on Sydney’s Lower North Shore. After more than seventeen years in private practice, one principle continues to guide my work: symptoms rarely tell the whole story. I welcome people from across Sydney and regional New South Wales.
My foundations in naturopathy, nutrition and herbal medicine taught me to look beyond an isolated concern, towards the relationships between symptoms, lifestyle and physiology. Over time, that perspective expanded to include mind-body therapies, including photobiomodulation and PEMF.
The whole picture
Physical wellbeing is never entirely separate from the life around it. Physiology, daily habits, emotional experience, relationships, beliefs and life circumstances all have their place. My role is to listen for the connections between them and to consider the wider picture with care.
Your own path
No two people arrive with the same history, needs or way of moving through the world. There is no fixed formula, and no predetermined path. Our work is shaped by what matters most to you now.
Time and space
Meaningful change cannot be imposed from the outside. Often, clarity emerges when there is enough time, space and thoughtful guidance to see things differently, or to reconnect with something you already know.
Whatever brings you here, you will be met with respect for the complexity of your experience and a considered approach to what matters most. Together, we can find a way forward that feels meaningful, sustainable and distinctly your own.

Is PEMF supported by research?
A library of published research
PEMF has been investigated since the 1970s. Here are 36 peer-reviewed papers, each marked by how the study was done: trials in people, reviews that pool many studies, and laboratory work on cells. Results vary and research continues, so this studio makes no specific clinical claims.
